Lightning Wear Apparel was founded in 2006 by athletes who were looking for a new edge in the sports apparel industry. They recognized the demand for a new performance apparel company catered to the hardcore athlete. Surprisingly, the area for true standouts in the industry is limited to the same old brands and styles.

The storm has come and the time for Lightning Wear is now. Our sports apparel is designed to wick perspiration away from the body so that the athlete stays comfortable and dry regardless of weather, and maximize mobility and performance under extreme conditions. Our vision is to offer the best performance apparel available, with a focus on making moisture wicking products that stand out among other players in the industry. Not only will our gear be comfortable and stylish, but engineered to last. 

Lightning Wears primary goal is to make our brand affordable and available to athletes of all ages. As we strive to build our brand, we will listen to what athletes, coaches, and staff want in order to meet the needs of our customers and build lasting relationships with them. In the Spring of 2008, LW launched its first official line of team uniforms for men and women. We are now capable of producing and customizing every type of sports uniform for all seasons. As well, LW continues to partner with strong programs and individuals. Thanks to several of our outstanding athletes and teams, LW has made our way in to several National Television and print appearances. We feel this is only the beginning. THE STORM IS HERE!
